This summit was so much fun. I conducted three workshops of goal-setting and success-planning for students from 4th grade all the way to 11th grade. The summit was hosted by DIVAS Mentoring Program, a really great organization that focuses on youth and women empowerment.
I linked up with the Tau Theta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. at University of Virginia to lead an assembly on self-discipline for the entire Buford Middle School of 7th and 8th graders. Y'all it was so much fun; the most I've had in a long time. My presentation was called "Re-defining Discipline," and the students seemed to enjoy hearing it, and listening to my stories from my 7th and 8th grade years, haha. Big shout out to the Zetas, without whom this would not have been possible.
Oh yeah, I caught some good vegan food in C-ville, from The Bluegrass too. Bless.
